Job Description
Curtin Harbor Services (Curtin Maritime) is hiring Captains for its ASD ship-assist and escort tugs in the San Pedro Bay Port Complex (Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach). Captains work under the Port Captain and command tugs (e.g., Tuuli C) providing docking, undocking, and escort to deep-draft vessels under Harbor/State Pilot direction and in coordination with VTS Los Angeles/Long Beach. The role is harbor-based (nights/weekends/holidays as needed) and does not typically require extended time away from home. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, STD, AD&D/life and a 401(k) with match.
